Please note that high-quality masks (KN-95 or better) are both PROVIDED and REQUIRED. I realize that this is a deal-breaker for some people; if that's the case for you, please DO NOT purchase a ticket. This class is open to ALL people, including those with compromised immune systems. It is also wheelchair-accessible!
Sewing machine provided!! If you have your own that you want to bring, please let me know the make and model beforehand so I can research.
We will:
-discuss machine safety, machine anatomy, and basic sewing terms
-demonstrate and practice how to thread the machine and sew basic stitches
-make a pillow case that you can take home and use for real!
Bring your own fabric or use some of mine. I'll be sending out an email closer to the date on what kind of fabric and thread to look for if you want to BYO.
Total fee includes:
-3h15m of instruction, plus additional time to finish if necessary.-take-home worksheets to practice on your own.
-fabric, thread,and pillow insert to take home; sewing machine and notions to use in class.
-credit card fee
