Wednesday, October 9 and Wednesday, October 16

4:30 - 6:15pm (with extra time to finish the project on the 16th if necessary)

Note: this class is for beginner sewists, but your child should know: sewing machine safety, how to thread the machine, and be able to sew a straight stitch. If you would like to participate in this class and do not yet have these skills, please contact me at julie.napear@gmail.com to set up a tutoring session prior to the class so we can go over absolute beginner basics.

I will provide sewing machines and Halloween-themed fabric and thread. If you want to make a tote bag that is not Halloween-themed, please bring 1/2 yard of woven cotton for the main fabric, and 1/2 yard for the lining. Feel free to email me if you need help knowing what fabric is appropriate. I have lots of thread colors, but if you would like an exact match, please bring your own.
