I have several Brother CS6000i machines, which have built-in safety features and a speed option to make things easy, especially for young learners. If you prefer to bring your own, you will need 1/2 yard of woven cotton (40-44" wide), and matching thread. I like Coats and Clark Dual Duty XP, which is widely available and not too expensive. 125 yards (their smallest spool) is plenty. Feel free to ask for more guidance on this. Lesson will be at 131 S. Cameron St., Winchester, VA 22601, unless otherwise arranged. Wearing a high-quality mask (KN95 or better) is required to make the class safe and accessible to all, and masks are provided free of charge. Wheelchair accessible. NOTE FOR MINORS: Children are welcome, but minors must be accompanied by an adult, per the rules of the space I rent (from the Boy Scouts of America). There is plenty of room for the adults to sit and work/read/etc. The instructor (Julie) passed a background check to work with children in 2024 (performed for the City of Winchester).
